More ideal for casting concrete slabs in road construction. Unlike the limited manual screed, this truss screed can integrate vibration to compact the concrete simultaneously to level the surface. According to industrial floor construction guidelines, truss screeds are often supported by temporary rails or forms to achieve precision tolerances. In addition though it is not recommended for surfaces with very high precision requirements without laser assistance. It is typically operated by two to four workers, with adjustable operating speeds to match the viscosity of the concrete.
